"Vinicius is a genius. He is very difficult to cover in one-on-ones. You have to see how easily he gets past the opponents. He did the same in this match, that goal was really amazing," commented Douglas Santos, according to FIFA's official website.

In this match, Vinicius scored the equalizing goal for Brazil in the 32nd minute by running down the left flank and penetrating the penalty box. As the result ended 1–1, both teams started the Group C competition with a point each.
