Key powers at Juventus to Carnevale: 50 million deals to be signed in one go
Italian club Juventus has given its new manager Carnevale the authority to make independent decisions on the purchase and sale of under 50 million players. His signature is all that is required, and no higher sums can be made without the permission of President Ferrero.
Giovanni Carnevalli, who has taken over as the new AD of Italian giants Juventus, has been given full powers by club president Gianluca Ferrero. As per the decision taken in the board meeting held on June 12, Carnival has got a key role not only from the players but also from the sporting, commercial, organizational, financial and other departments.
Mainly, Carnival is authorized to accept 50 million weapons by single sign, to buy/sell players and players. That means, his deal is possible for any deal under 50 million. However, President Ferrero's signature is mandatory for deals between 50 million and 75 million. In special cases a written delegation may be required from him.
Moreover, Carnevali has overall authority over contracts of up to 10 million for the appointment of coaches, fitness trainers, technical directors, etc. If that amount is exceeded, the President's signature is again required. 75 million plus big deals can be made if Ferrero is signed.
Thus, by giving wide powers to Carnevali, Juventus has taken a step towards speed and transparency in its managerial work. This is an organizationally active step for the club.
